Happy November USTA Members!

I hope all is well with you and your loved ones during this busy season.

The USTA Board continues our momentum to create some great changes for the new year. I will focus on a few here.

Our Vimeo account has been upgraded to be able to continually add more videos to the website. Expect announcements of upcoming additions. As you read this, videos of Gary Brownlee are in the process of being uploaded! Thanks to Gwen Crowell as the midwife to this precious contribution. We’ll email members as soon as they’re up. Watch for it! It’s only the beginning of the amazing videos that you will be able to access! A huge amount of gratitude goes out to Richard Mack, Fernando Rojas, Joe Rodin, and the folks at TI for leading this fantastic accomplishment.

I have just created a new Facebook Group called Trager Intro Workshop Leader Support. Intro Workshop Leaders are an extremely important part of Trager’s growth. We are the first to inspire, inform and help those to begin to understand this approach. We can use this FB group as a way to share ideas, class plans, successes, and challenges. A member in Washington State is having great success by offering his Intro Workshop in a consistent pattern. He has built his classes up to an average of 16 per class with three intros during 2018 and 2019. This is a wonderful inspiration for us all to know about! Facebook has a way of getting us this kind of information quickly. If you are an Into Workshop Leader or thinking of becoming one, and would like to join this group, friend me on my personal page, Linda Beals MacConnell, and I will add you to the group. I look forward to some fun chats!

Laura Lynn Giubardo has decided to step down as our Trager International Representative that she has so graciously served for many years now.  She is a great force in the New England area! When she moved from sunny Hawaii, she brought her warmth all the way to a cold and wintry northern Vermont!  We are all so grateful and appreciate all that her warm heart has given to this organization. She has done a great job and I am personally very happy to know her. Thank you so much Laura Lynn! This position will now be shared by Judy Rose Seibert and Joe Rodin. Thank you to these two dedicated folks for stepping up to fill that space!

Thank you to all those who offer their time and attention towards your love and passion in anything Trager. Every single person shares the responsibility to spread Trager in our own way; how we talk about Trager, who we talk to, whether we focus that attention on the benefits as relaxation, rehabilitation, body-mind connections, reaching the mind to change patterns, neuroscience principles or all of the above. It is up to all of us to do our part.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and families.

Be safe, eat well, and hug often,

Linda MacConnell
