COURSE DESCRIPTION

Trager® CPR! Creativity Produces Results!!!

Who is this for?

Any Trager practitioner/student that wants to grow their practice, enjoy greater self-confidence as a private practitioner and boost Trager’s impact in the world!

What is it?

A 3-week online coaching and support group to support your Trager Practice, and encourage confidence in leading Mentastics® to individuals and groups and introducing the Trager Approach to the larger community. The focus will be on developing a creative mind: setting goals and intentions, being able to improvise as needed.  The second week is focused on finding product that works for you: a class, a session, a new status for yourself; and finally, week 3 we will celebrate your results.  Progress in ongoing, but by week 3 you will have a solid plan that is realistic.  Together we will complete the steps you create to build your practice and community. We will start wherever you are.  If you want to simply listen and learn from others, and are not ready to step out, that is ok also, you are welcome!

Who will facilitate this class?

Judy Fasone, Columbus, OH, has been intimately involved with the Trager community for 23 years as Practitioner, Class Organizer, Introductory Workshop Leader, Tutor, and Mentastics Instructor and Sr. Practitioner. Between 2000-2007, she served as GLTA Rep, USTA president and representative to Trager International, Tutor and Educational committees.  Judy notes that in the past 15 years, the membership numbers have dropped, and our organization has shrunk to 250 practitioners and 60 students (at the time of this writing).  Trager CPR will revive your own practice, but it is critical if we are to be a viable organization that we have community-based workshops that educate the public on this approach for healing.  In addition, Judy is a certified Nurse Coach, and helps her clients and students set goals and find success as they work through the barriers that block forward movement  Judy senses the sacredness of ordinary life as a profound feeling of well-being.  A musician and songwriter, Judy brings this creative spark into her workshops and classes and inspires others to free their spirits through movement and self-care.

Ruth Bucher, assistant. Ruth Bucher is in Fort Worth, TX Ruth was introduced to the Trager Approach early into her career as massage therapist in 1997. She has been a Trager Practitioner since 2000.  Integrating Trager work with massage therapy allows her to work more effectively, especially with clients who are dealing with difficult physical issues. Trager taught her to trust her intuition, allowing her to work more effortlessly and connect with clients on a deeper levelRuth has been a massage therapy instructor and continuing education provider since 2009 and since 2014 she is leading Trager Introductory Workshops in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  She is currently working on becoming a Trager tutor and on spreading the Trager feeling in her community.
