The Therapeutic Training Center is hosting a Trager® Certification Program with Level 1 and optional support, taught by Joseph Rodin, MA, LMHC, LMT, Trager® Practitioner, Tutor and Instructor.

Dr. Milton Trager recognized--well before contemporary knowledge on neuroplasticity, autonomic regulation and current pain science--that new information introduced to areas in the unconscious mind, gently and with skill, activates positive neurological changes which improve movement patterns and decrease pain. He referred to his work as Psychophysical Integration.

Practitioners work in a calm, cultivated, meditative state, what Dr. Trager called "hook-up" facilitating neuroceptive co-regulation for client and therapist alike. The language of touch and movement promote sensory awareness and ease of movement.
 

You can choose to sign up for the: 

• Entire Professional Trager® Certification Series, or 

• For 9 days of the Level 1 training (Level 1, plus 8 hours of Mentastics and one Supervision Day), or

• For the “Complete” Level 1 training (including 2 Supervision Days and Tutorials) 

Level 1 Dates

• Sep 23-26, 2026 Level 1 - A & Mentastics

• Oct 6, 2026 Supervision Day 1

• Dec 2-5, 2026 Level 1 - B & Mentastics

• Jan 11, 2027 Supervision Day 2 (optional)

Program Details: Level 1 Professional Training in September

Tuition: $1,800 plus sales tax and for the “9 Days only” option:: eight days of Level 1 training including 8 hours of Mentastics class, plus a Supervision Day

Additional Registration Information:

You need to be a Student member of the USTA or another National Trager Association to take this class or other classes required for Trager certification. The Student dues are $50 annually. If you have any questions, please reach out to exec@tragerus.org.
