Join Ruth Bucher in Fort Worth, Texas for this one-day introductory workshop, Somatic Movement Explorations focusing on Body and Touch Awareness, on Saturday August 8th 2026.

In this class we explore the power of Awareness, Focus, and Intention, basic core principles of The Trager® Approach. We learn about a safe and effortless approach to self-care and the healing potential of mindful touch.

Body Awareness: We practice paying attention to our own bodies and how to move effortlessly to feel better. 


Touch Awareness: We practice paying attention to what happens when we mindfully touch another person. 


Integrating Awareness: We practice Awareness, Focus, and Intention to effortlessly feel and work better.

For non-professionals this class is an exploration of awareness of your own body and the feeling of safe touch. 

For professionals who work hands-on with clients and patients, raising awareness of your own body and touch can improve comfort level in life and at work. It can also improve comfort level and session results for clients. This Intro can also fulfill a prerequiste for taking further professional Trager trainings.

This class was featured in a 2 Day Workshop at the AMTA Texas Chapter Convention in League City, TX in April 2018.
