Since 1971, Gail worked with a number of pioneers in awareness-based bodywork and process, including: Dick Korn of the Berkeley Institute of Psychodrama; Peter Levine, founder of Somatic Experiencing; Dick Price, co-founder of Esalen Institute; and Christine Price, founder of Gestalt Awareness Practice. From 1975 to 1997, she studied with Milton Trager and has served as a Trager Instructor since 1980.
