I am a Physical Therapist living and working in Frederick County, Virginia. Early in my manual therapy studies I learned of the work of Milton Trager. I was captivated by the experience and continued to certification. Having much more education to pursue, I allowed my certification to lapse. After 25 years I have returned to the fold.
I have studied the work of Moshe Feldenkrais through workshops, reading and recorded ATM lessons. This has broadened my understanding of human movement, supporting my study in psycho-physical integration and Mentastics.
I have been in ballroom dance lessons since 2011 with my wife, Brenda. We meant only to enhance our social life (weddings, Gala’s and the like). Immediately fascinated with this form of artful movement, we just haven’t quit.
My recent independent study has been in pain neuroscience and trauma’s effects on the brain. This has turned my attention once again to manual therapy and SME&T.
Having been down several paths, it is time to venture further along the way Milton has shown us.
